whats happiness its state of mind, its something money cant find
this is a song
which is the
State of Mind
Which I'm gonna be
For the rest of my life
PS:AM WRITING EXTEMPORE
WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT
FROM MY BRAIN TO THE KEYBOARD
USING MY FINGERS AS A GO-BETWEEN
THE
UNADULTERATED ME AS I AM
THIS ONE IS STRAIGHT FROM MY HEART
A HAPPY SONG @LAST
:)))))))
#GENRE COUNTRY
NO OTHER GENRE PORTRAYS FATHER SON STUFF BETTER
Well it was a day in 2k8
eighteenth April summer time
was sifting all the things
that dad had left
all his assets of his lifetime
there i found a wad of notes
the color of which was green
they were notes of five
and it made me dive
something i had never seen
some letters and pics
some parting gifts
some cheque-book counterfoils
one ATM card
one book by the bard
letters just stained by cooking oil
I remembered his words
that he always said
son fools build all the house's
wise men live there
give there children care
and looks after his spouse
Then i went to his room
and opened a trunk filled with
Christie n mills and boons
my memories jogged
to the 60's times
when he used to feed me
with a spoon
in my lap lay remote
and his leather tote
and his old sanyo walkman
all the music tapes
whic i learnt by rote
and copied like
african ape
Son happiness is something
that cant be bought with
wads of notes
it passes from dad
to his younger kids
and on the lap
on the bike and the swings
this is a song
which is the
State of Mind
Which I'm gonna be
For the rest of my life
